Getting to the hotel was frustrating as we had to carry our luggage a long distance without having any clear instructions on where to park or check-in. The lack of air conditioning made the room a bit uncomfortable at times, and my requests for assistance on these matters felt a bit overlooked.

I loved my time at Pension Hallberg! The fine view from my room. Room 3 was spacious, immaculate, and came equipped with a kitchenette that included all necessary utensils. The cute touches like welcome chocolates and a functional electric kettle enhanced the stay. The building itself has beautiful art all over. The location couldn't have been better, just minutes away from the ferry stop, with access to the rest of Hallstatt. The hostess, Tamara, was helpful, providing great local recommendations. Checking in required a phone call to get the key code, which might be inconvenient , especially those traveling internationally without free calls. Despite this small hiccup, my overall experience was fantastic, and I can't wait to return.

Amazing Views and Accommodating Staff

The amenities were great, and we appreciated the little extras like the communal coffee area and early check-in. The staff, especially Tamara, were very good, offering great tips about local activities and even assisting us with transportation issues as we left. A minor suggestion would be to consider having clearer parking instructions available ahead of time.

The location stands out, just steps from local shops and fine lake views. Rooms are spacious and impeccably clean, with a kitchen that gave the feeling of a home away from home. The staff provided a warm welcome and great tourist recommendations. While breakfast included delicious marmalade, it would be nice to have more variety.

Cozy room, cute manager, with a great view of the surroundings that complemented the comfortable bed and provided Netflix access for relaxation after exploring the wonderful local hiking trails nearby.

The room we stayed in was huge and provided all the kitchen necessities for cooking. I loved chilling on the sun terrace and soaking in the beautiful views. There were loungers perfect. The parking info could've been clearer, but overall, it was a fantastic experience that I'd highly recommend 😊

The atmosphere was cozy with a warm, inviting host. Definitely recommend checking out the café as well.

You'll also find an incredibly cozy bed that ensures a good night's sleep.
